Creek Gauges To Help Monitor Flooding Threats

Potential flooding problems in Greenbrier County can be better monitored with som temporary devices put in creeks. The sensors will be used to keep people who live near threatening waterways about the literal ups and downs of the water at any given time. The gauges can determine if those water levels are headed up to a point to where they pose a threat to a nearby community. They’re currently in Howard’s creek in White Sulphur Springs and at Sewell Creek in Rainelle.
